DOC to Any Converter Command Line has been designed to help users convert MS Office documents to other formats, such as rtf to pcl, pdf, hpgl and png etc.. Click here, you will know more about DOC to Any Converter Command Line. And here are the methods to convert txt files to pcl files.

Method1:

Open the operating environment of DOC to Any Converter Command Line first, click  the hotkey of “Windows+R” on the keyboard>input “cmd.exe”>click “ok” button, then the dialog box could be popup on the screen of pc, and here is the current directory in the command prompt window below:

C:\Documents and Settings\admin>

And next,  please input the path of “doc2any.exe” to start DOC to Any Converter Command; input the path of the source file or drag and drop the source file into the command prompt window directly to add the source file; then input the objective path directly, and finally, click “enter” to convert txt to pcl,  here is the example below:

the single conversion:

C:\Documents and Settings\admin>D:\doc2any_cmd\doc2any.exe<space>

D:\d\fine.txt<space>E:\out\fine.pcl<enter>

And it you want to edit the properties of the pcl file, the parameters could be inputted between the path of ‘doc2any.exe’ and the path of the source file. And I use <options> to represent any parameters you may input during the conversion. Here is the example below:

the single conversion:

C:\Documents and Settings\admin>D:\doc2any_cmd\doc2any.exe<space><options><space>

D:\d\fine.txt<space>E:\out\fine.pcl<enter>

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you want dozens of the source files converted one time, there are 2 key points:

  • first, all of the source files could be collected into the uniform folder or on the same disc
  • then the wild card character “*” could be used to replace all of the file names in the conversion, then all of txt files in the folder of “d” could be converted to pcl files added into the folder of “out”:

the batch conversion:

C:\Documents and Settings\admin>D:\doc2any_cmd\doc2any.exe<space><options><space> D:\d\*.txt<space>E:\out\*.pcl<enter>

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To make each page of txt converted to the single pcl files, inputting the percent character “%” behind the targeting file name is the key point, which is also suitable for the batch conversion:

the single conversion:

C:\Documents and Settings\admin>D:\doc2any_cmd\doc2any.exe<space><options><space> D:\d\fine.txt<space>E:\out\fine%.pcl<enter>

the batch conversion:

C:\Documents and Settings\admin>D:\doc2any_cmd\doc2any.exe<space><options><space> D:\d\*txt<space>E:\out\*%.pcl<enter>

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Method2:

Please click “start” button>select “Run”>input “cmd”>click “ok” button to open the running environment of DOC to Any Converter Command Line, then the command prompt window could be opened, where there is a same directory as method 1.

To process the task with another different thread, the key point is that you need to make the source files in the uniform source folder, and the example is as below:

the single conversion:

C:\Documents and Settings\admin>D:<enter>             ---->jump to the directory of D disc

D:\>cd<space>doc2any_cmd<enter>                        ---->enter to the folder of “doc2any_cmd”

D:\doc2any_cmd\>doc2any<space>fine.txt<space>fine.pcl<enter>  --->run the tool, add the source file, prepare the objective pcl

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Likely, to process each page of rtf to the single pcl files, “%” could be added behind the objective file name, and here is the example below:

C:\Documents and Settings\admin>D:<enter>

D:\>cd<space>doc2any_cmd<enter>

D:\doc2any_cmd\>doc2any<space>fine.txt<space>fine%.pcl<enter>
