AVI to GIF Animation Converter is used to convert AVI to GIF animation. It is a powerful application which supports to convert different parts of AVI to animated GIF file by setting different starts and ends. It also enables you to set the GIF replay times and GIF frame rate.

Please see Figure 1, it is the main interface of AVI to GIF Animation Converter. There is a table list used to list the AVI files which need to be converted. The button "Add Video File(s)" on the left is used to add video files to the file list. Dragging the video files into the list is a convenient and easy way. Right clicking the file list and choosing "Add files" option in the dropdown list is also available. "Remove" button is used to delete some video file in the list. "Remove All" is for deleting all the video files.

By clicking on "Options" button, you can see "Option" dialog box in which you can set the parameters to the output file. Please see Figure 2.

If you want to convert a section of a file of AVI to GIF animation, please set the start and end time in "Start(Sec)" and "End(Sec)" spin boxes. The size of animated GIF file can be controled in "Size(1 to 6000)" spin box by setting the width and height. The quality of animated GIF can be set from 0.01 to 255. Of course, the larger the value is, the better the quality will be. Please select "GIF Animation(*.gif)" in "File Format" combo box. If you skip the "GIF Replay Times" combo box, the output GIF file will replay according to the default value—"Infinite loop". In "GIF Frame Rate" spin box, you can set the frame rate of the GIF animation to control its play speed. Then click "OK" button to save all the parameters and click "Convert" button in Figure1 to choose a location for the output file.
The conversion will start at once and the progress bar will give you a conversion progress at the bottom of the interface. Several seconds later, you can see the GIF animation in related folder on your computer. Please see Figure 3.
