Please check “Resize” in the middle bottom of this window form. There are four available resizing types in “Type” combo box. They are Fix Image, Restrict Width, Restrict Height and Ignore Proportion. Take the first one—Fix Image as example. It means the images will be resized according to the original proportion referring to the smaller value between width and height. If the proportion of original file is 3:2 and the inputted values of width and height are 200 pixels and 400 pixels, as you can see, the smaller value between width and height is 200 pixels. The width value of output files will be 200pixels and the image proportion will refer to 3:2.

You should choose the file format in “Output Format” combo box, such as .gif format. Please click “Convert” button and select a directory for storing the output images, then resize all the images in list table. You will see a green progress bar in the bottom of the window form just like the one in the following snapshot. The progress bar box will be empty again after the conversion is finished. You will get the resized images in a new folder in your selected directory.

In addition, “Restrict Width” means that the width value will be set by the user and the images will be resized retaining the original proportion. “Restrict Height” means that the height value will be set by the user and the images will be resized retaining the original proportion. While “Ignore Proportion” means that the user can manually define the new width and height.
