Photo Resizer

You can use photo resizer to resize your photos in a batch with different types—Fix Image, Restrict Width, Restrict Height and Ignore Proportion. Fix Image means the images will be resized according to the original proportion referring to the smaller value between width and height. Restrict Width means that the width value will be set by the user and the images will be resized retaining the original proportion. Restrict Height means that the height value will be set by the user and the images will be resized retaining the original proportion. While Ignore Proportion means that the user can manually define the new width and height.

Please download the application via clicking here for a free trial version, and buy a license for it if you need the unlimited function of the program. The following screen snapshot is the main interface of photo resizer. You can see there is a table list used to list all the photos which need to be resized. The button “Add Image File(s)” on the right is used to add image files to the image files list. “Remove” button is used to delete the image file in the list. “Remove All” is for deleting all the image files.

In “Resize” box in middle bottom of the interface, you should check “Resize” first with your mouse. Then you should choose the resize type in “Type” combo box according to your need. For example, the item “Restrict Width” is selected. Then you will find the “Width” edit box is available but the “Height” edit box is not. So you should set the width value for the new image files and the application will resize all the image files according to the width value retaining the original proportions. In “Output Format” combo box, you can choose the format for output image files. Then please click “Convert” button on the right to choose a suitable directory and resize photos in a batch. The green progress bar box will give you the progress of the process just like the following screen snapshot.

The image has been resized successfully will be saved in the directory one by one until all the images are resized. Please see the following screen snapshot. You will find the width value of each image has been changed to 200 pixels but the image proportion is still the original one.
